I have used semen from Carnkirk Hilton on Racine, a Highlander daughter out of Javanaise who was a beef champion as a heifer at the National Show in Brive and a Domino daughter. We have had excellent results - one of the latest being Hartlaw Estelle. I am now taking embryos from my own cows, Hartlaw Venus, herself an embryo calf by Lino out of Mamelle, has produced superb calves by Objat. An excellent example is Hartlaw Eroica. |

| I am also taking embryos from Valentine bred by Earl Broussaud from one of their best cows, Malaga, who is a powerful cow weighing 1,050 kg at grass; Union, a Delta daughter, bred by Earl Laleu, who carries the same bloodlines as Renoncule the mother of Haltcliffe Vermount; and Hartlaw Apple, a Racine daughter by Nenuphar, who I hope will continue her mother’s record of producing stylish, well muscled progeny. | |
