Hartlaw Dauphin
Hartlaw Dauphin at 22 months, sired by Daim out of
Hartlaw Bluebell, full sister to Hartlaw Blueberry.
Daim was the first stock bull bought by the
Greenwell Herd.
He was influential in
the development of this renown herd.
He
produced easy fleshing cattle with good muscle development and his females were
exceptionally milky.
His first
three-quarter bred calves(male and female) suckling Limousin-cross heifers
averaged
over £1,000 in 1990-91 at no more than 8 weeks old. He was bred by M. Paret.
Hartlaw Bilbo
Hartlaw Bilbo was sired by
Heros out of Glenrock Juniper.
He is a modern type Limousin, long and clean with good breed
characteristics.
His sire, Heros, was
first used on the Cloughhead and Haltcliffe Herds.
Cloughhead heifer calves were shown at the
Best of British 1994 and were rated as simply fantastic.
Bilbo is proving to easy calving and mainly
used on my heifers.

Tony is sired by Genial out of Lavande, full sister to Operette the mother of the Haltcliffe Herd’s top sire, Sympa. Tony is a bull with tremendous style and good breed characteristics. Semen available through Semenstore. |
Hartlaw Apollo is sired by Nenuphar out of Racine, a Highlander daughter bred from the renown Champeval Herd. Apollo has consistently bred easy fleshed cattle showing natural muscle development. |
 Satan Satan was sired by Malibu out of Golden and was bred by Gaec Camus; he had a superb temperament and was well muscled with a long level back. His sire, Malibu, was champion in the Beef Bull class at the ILC in Limoges in 2000. Golden was a powerful cow and in the Gaec Camus show team until I purchased her in 2001. |
